    Wear the style of clothes that you like. There is nothing better than showing who you are through your style of clothes. It is also easier to feel comfortable and confident when you are wearing what you like.

    Stand up for yourself. If you are one of those shy types don't let people talk to you bad in front of him.Use sarcasm,and if you don't know any comebacks look online,and practice them in the mirror.

    Spend time with the guy. You can use many things to spend time with him such as looking at who he is hanging out with and seeing if you know them. Then you have an excuse to hang out with that guy. You can also ask him for input on a real or fake question you were "debating" with your friend about. If you have a class with him, go up to him and ask him questions about class, or a project you may have. Try to bring up their favourite things such as bands, or music genres.
